- This tool generates draft employment letters based on your inputs. It is not legal advice. Always have the letter reviewed by your HR head or legal counsel before issuing to employees.
- Employment letters must comply with the Indian Contract Act, 1872, Payment of Wages Act, 1936, Shops & Establishments Act, and other applicable labour laws. Ensure all statutory benefits are correctly mentioned.
- Appointment letters must be issued on the company letterhead and signed by an authorized signatory to be legally valid.
- Relieving letters and experience certificates should be issued on the date of relieving and must match the employee's official records.
- Salary increment letters must clearly mention the effective date, revised CTC, and detailed break-up of all components. Attach the updated salary break-up as an annexure.
- Internship offer letters should clearly state the duration, stipend, learning objectives, and nature of the internship (paid/unpaid, virtual/in-office).
