User consent management policy - how we obtain, record, and manage consent for data processing and marketing communications on the Bizeneed platform.
On this page
Introduction
This User Consent Policy explains how Bizeneed India Private Limited obtains, records, manages, and respects your consent for data processing activities and marketing communications. We are committed to transparent consent practices that give you genuine choice and control over how your personal data is used. This policy applies to consent we ask for across our website, portal and service engagements, and to the cases where we use data you voluntarily provide without separate consent, as section 7(a) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act) allows.
- Applies to all data processing activities requiring consent under applicable law
- Consent is free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous, given by a clear affirmative action, and limited to the personal data necessary for the specified purpose (section 6(1) of the DPDP Act)
- You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it; withdrawal does not affect processing done before it (section 6(4) and (5) of the DPDP Act)
- We keep records of the consents we collect on our servers, as described below
Types of Consent
We obtain different types of consent depending on the data processing activity. Where you voluntarily provide personal data for a specified purpose, such as submitting an enquiry form, and have not indicated that you do not consent, we use it only for that purpose. Section 7(a) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 treats such use as a legitimate use once that section comes into force (eighteen months after 13 November 2025, under MeitY notification G.S.R. 843(E) dated 13 November 2025). Where we rely on consent, for example for marketing communications or optional cookies, we ask for it separately and you give it through a clear affirmative action. Every marketing email includes a way to opt out.
- Voluntarily provided data: used only for the specified purpose for which you provided it, a legitimate use under section 7(a) of the DPDP Act, 2023 once that section comes into force
- Consent by clear affirmative action: for marketing communications, optional cookies and other purposes that need consent
- Opt-in consent: actively required before sending marketing communications via any channel
- Opt-out mechanisms: provided for existing marketing relationships to withdraw consent
- Cookie consent: granular consent for different cookie categories on our website
- Separate consents: distinct consent requests for different processing purposes and activities
How Consent is Obtained
Consent is obtained through clear, affirmative actions that leave no room for doubt about your agreement. When you register on our platform, you tick a box to accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and we record the date and time and the versions of those documents. Where an enquiry form offers WhatsApp or marketing updates, it uses a separate, unticked opt-in, and we record your choice, the date and the form it came from. Website cookie consent is obtained through our cookie banner with category-level options; that choice is stored in your browser, not on our servers.
- Clear, plain-language consent notices presented before any processing begins
- Separate options for separate purposes, such as marketing updates and each optional cookie category
- Separate consent for marketing communications - never bundled with service consent
- Cookie consent banner with category-level controls (essential, analytics, diagnostics, marketing)
- Sign-up consent records kept with the date and time and the policy versions accepted; marketing opt-ins kept with the date and source
- No pre-ticked boxes or default consent options for any non-essential processing
Managing Consent
You can change your choices at any time: cookie choices through Cookie settings on our website, notification channels (email, SMS and push) in your portal notification settings, and marketing emails through the unsubscribe link or by contacting our support team. You may consent to some purposes and not to others, and we respect these choices in later processing.
- Change cookie choices at any time through Cookie settings on our website
- Turn notification channels (email, SMS, push) on or off in your portal notification settings
- Opt out of marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in each marketing email
- Cookie and notification setting changes take effect when you save them
- For any other consent, write to us and we will update your preferences
- Support team available to assist with consent management at support@bizeneed.in
Withdrawal of Consent
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, and doing so will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out based on consent before it was withdrawn. Withdrawing consent for marketing communications will stop all marketing emails, SMS, and calls. You can withdraw consent through Cookie settings, your portal notification settings, the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting our support team. As section 6(5) of the DPDP Act provides, if you withdraw consent for data that a service depends on, we may no longer be able to provide that service. Withdrawal is processed within 2 business days.
- Withdraw consent at any time through Cookie settings, portal notification settings or by contacting support
- Unsubscribe link included in every marketing communication for one-click withdrawal
- Marketing communications cease within 2 business days of consent withdrawal
- Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal date
- You will see or receive a confirmation when your withdrawal is processed
- You can give consent again at any time by changing your settings or contacting us
