What is a Partnership Deed?
A Partnership Deed is a legal document that defines the terms and conditions of a partnership between two or more partners. It is the foundation of the partnership relationship and defines the rights, duties, and obligations of each partner.
A Partnership Deed typically includes: (1) Name of the firm and partners, (2) Nature of business, (3) Duration of partnership, (4) Capital contribution of each partner, (5) Profit-sharing ratio, (6) Interest on capital and drawings, (7) Management and decision-making, (8) Admission of new partners, (9) Retirement and death of partners, (10) Dissolution of the firm.
