This document outlines the general policies and operational guidelines that govern your use of Bizeneed's platform and services.
1. Platform Usage
Bizeneed provides a technology platform that connects businesses with professional service providers. By using our platform, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the platform.
2. Data Protection Principles
Bizeneed is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, as well as applicable international data protection standards. We adhere to the following core principles:
- Lawfulness, fairness, and transparency - We collect and process personal data only through lawful means and are transparent about how your data is used.
- Purpose limitation - Personal data is collected only for specific, legitimate purposes and is not processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes.
- Data minimization - We collect only the data that is necessary for the stated purpose and do not retain excessive personal information.
- Accuracy - We maintain accurate and up-to-date personal data, and provide mechanisms for users to correct or update their information.
- Storage limitation - Personal data is kept only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.
- Integrity and confidentiality (Security) - We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
- Accountability - We maintain accountability for compliance with these data protection principles and are prepared to demonstrate our adherence upon request.
3. User Rights
In accordance with applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access - You have the right to request confirmation of whether your personal data is being processed, to obtain a copy of the data held about you, and to receive information about how it is being used.
- Right to Rectification - You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data held by Bizeneed. You can update most of your profile information directly through your account settings.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten") - You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain legal and contractual obligations that may require us to retain certain information (e.g., for accounting, tax, or legal compliance purposes). Upon verified request, we will permanently delete or anonymize your personal data, except where retention is required by law.
- Right to Restrict Processing - You may request that we limit the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when you contest the accuracy of the data or when processing is unlawful but you do not wish for the data to be erased.
- Right to Data Portability - You may request a structured, commonly-used, and machine-readable format of your personal data, which can be transmitted to another service provider where technically feasible.
- Right to Object - You may object to the processing of your personal data for direct-marketing purposes at any time, including profiling related to such marketing.
To exercise any of the above rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@bizeneed.com. We will respond to verified requests within 30 calendar days, as required under applicable law. In cases where we cannot fulfill a request, we will provide a written explanation.
4. Data Retention Policy
Bizeneed retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, and to comply with our legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Our general retention periods are as follows:
- Account information - Retained for the duration of the active account relationship, plus a period of up to 7 years after account closure for compliance with tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
- Transaction records - Retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with Indian tax and accounting regulations under the Income Tax Act, 1961 and applicable GST regulations.
- Service delivery records- Retained for up to 3 years after service completion for quality assurance, dispute resolution, and legal compliance purposes.
- Communication records - Retained for up to 2 years after the last interaction, unless a longer retention period is required by law or for ongoing dispute resolution.
- Marketing consent records- Retained for as long as consent is active, or until consent is withdrawn, whichever is sooner.
- Anonymized analytics data- Retained indefinitely for the purpose of improving platform performance, user experience, and service quality, provided it cannot be re-identified.
When retention periods expire, personal data is either securely deleted or anonymized. In some cases, data may be retained for longer periods if required by applicable law, regulation, or court order. We will notify you in advance if we intend to retain your data beyond the stated periods where legally permissible.
5. Third-Party Services Disclosure
Bizeneed may integrate with or rely on third-party services, platforms, and tools to deliver, enhance, or support our services. These include, but are not limited to:
- Payment Processors - We partner with compliant payment gateways (such as Razorpay, Stripe, and others) to process payments securely. Your financial information is subject to the privacy policies of these providers.
- Cloud Infrastructure - Our platform is hosted on cloud service providers (such as AWS, Google Cloud, or equivalent) who provide data center, hosting, and infrastructure services.
- Communication Tools - We may use email service providers (such as SendGrid, AWS SES) and messaging platforms to send transactional and notification emails.
- Analytics and Monitoring- We use analytics tools to understand platform usage, improve user experience, and monitor performance. Data shared with analytics providers is aggregated and anonymized where possible.
- Professional Service Providers - When you engage a professional through Bizeneed, certain information necessary for service delivery (such as your name, business details, and project requirements) may be shared with the assigned professional.
- AI and Automation Services- Bizeneed may use AI-powered tools and APIs to assist with service delivery, document processing, and workflow automation. Data processed by these tools is handled in accordance with this policy and applicable data protection agreements.
While Bizeneed selects its third-party partners carefully and expects them to handle your data responsibly, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services that may process your data in connection with your use of our platform. Third-party integrations are subject to Bizeneed's data sharing agreements, which include obligations to protect personal data and use it only for the agreed-upon purposes.
6. Pricing and Payments
All prices displayed on the platform are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely through our payment partners. In case of any discrepancies in billing, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction.
7. Confidentiality
Both Bizeneed and the professionals on our platform are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all business information shared during the course of service delivery. Non-disclosure agreements are executed where required by the nature of the engagement.
8. Modifications to Policy
Bizeneed reserves the right to update or modify these general policies at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. In the event of material changes, we will provide reasonable notice via email or through a prominent notice on our platform prior to the changes taking effect.
